What is a better way to show who you are and what you do as an Architectural Office than realising your own Office.

With this intention we have realised our own dream in Apeldoorn, the Netherlands. A house and office build out of steel and glass, with much domestic comfort. Other than usual industrial materials and building methods are used to realize a house. Sustainability, industrial and flexible building process have resulted in a remarkable project. Our project shows that ‘design’ can be affordable. Lots of glass with beautiful views and a special light entrance are the reason for lots of ‘oh’s and ah’s’ from visitors and people who pass by.

Exceptional positive reactions from various people. No matter what their age or background is, everybody has an opinion, for the greater part positive. All in all we have realised a remarkable project which is very pleasant to live and work in. This house is built as main project out of 4 houses. The houses where built in 2 times 2 phases, the last 2 houses were completed in April 2008.

These houses are, as far as we can find in literature, the first 4 stand alone houses with a steel appearance built for the market. Apeldoorn is the first to get it in the Netherlands! Another reason for us to be proud of it.
