SQUARE BOX

From the assignment of the National Day of Architecture in Apeldoorn to built a temporary stay three enthusiatic companies have cooperated: COURAGE architecten, MYA montage and JANSEN metaal. This coorperation have conducted to a "permanent-temporary" stay that got the nam Square Box. The design, a tight, square box has been designed by architect Lars Courage as a derivative of his recently built house. When the Square Box is closed the measurements of the box are 2,7 m x 2,7 m x 2,7 m. With these measurements the Square Box is an excellent alternative for the recent offer of standard gardenhouses. The Square Box is made out of steel, sustainable, maintenance free, stable and flexible. The Square Box has different opportunities. Depending on the model chosen for the Box can be opened more or less. After use it's always the Square Box again. The Square Box can be used as sellingpoint on events, a chique exhibition space, relaxing lounge space at the pool, extra sleeping space at the campsite, trendy dinner place with outdoor kitchen or "just" an storagebox. The Square Box is delivered in one piece, completed with floor and decoration. Transportation is easy with the mounting points on the roof, it can be placed wherever you like, ready to use. The Square Box that's exhibited in Apeldoorn during the Day of architecture is seen as a prototype. From this day the reactions and interests will be inventoried on the website www.courage.eu. Production is certainly a possibility after this.
